Grandaddy was a professor at TCU, and he and Grandmother lived right behind Brite and the Moudy Building.  The days we spent with them were measured by the hourly and quarterly chimes of Robert Carr Chapel, University Christian, and St. Stephen down the hill to the east.  It's a beautiful way to keep time, really.  But there was one day when the bells weren't quite as favorable to us.

DIY Ikat Painting

Swinging' In The Rain

I took my own advice last Friday and made a stop at Target over the weekend, (though not in my pajamas). They always have an awesome selection of rain boots, which inspired this collection of fun, rainy-day necessities, perfect for this weekend's predicted showers.

Flowers From A Friend

My nine-year-old brought me a bouquet of daffodils from the woods this weekend.  Smelling like honey and looking like Spring Sunshine itself, it was a happy surprise from a sweet little man who knew just how to touch my heart. Who will we bump into today who might need some flowers from a friend?  Be sure to touch their hearts with a bouquet of sweet words, understanding and love.

Spring Break Dreamin'

Spring Break is coming, and students everywhere are already daydreaming of how they'll spend this week of freedom. Whether your world revolves around a school schedule or not, I have a project for you:  I want you to go make plans for your own little spring break.
