As kids, we got to wrap up vacations to Arkansas with a stay at the Arlington Hotel. The pink and green lobby, the tropical wallpaper, and the little shop downstairs were a dream to me. I remember in particular peaking through the open doors of the ballroom to watch party goers float across the dance floor in their prettiest gowns.  While the state of the of the hotel has waxed and waned over the years, in my imagination it is the picture of everything a glamorous hotel should be.

Dinner at the Venetian is a nod to the hotel restaurant and it's fancy-free decor.
